I had my last hearing yesterday re my ex partner (an alcoholic) wanting access to my kids. I self represented myself for nearly 3 years and would ust like to tell others out there that it is possible.

Final order stated ex to only get indirect contact. His legal team were not pleased and tried all the dirty tricks but the CAFCASS report/officer were very good and the Judge took into account the needs of the children,

It took over 15 court appearances and a lot of emotional stress but it was worth it!

Very well done to you; I too have had nearly 15 court appearances and self represent but mine is not quite over yet. It gives me hope to read stories like yours and to know that they can finally come to an end.
