have been involved with my husbands co( limited) for 20 years and employed in different capacities for 13 years. worked full time , helped evolve the international business and managed a disciplinary action which could have brought the co down.. co sec/10% share holder pressured to drop from 20% last year. paid nomimal salary for past 18 months now as not doing work for co ...not my choice!

husband tells me that i have no call on the co.

in mediation ..he is having to get it valued..says i don`t need to?

help..what do i have to look out for..what might i expect in a fair agrement? what can i do to protect all the work and care i have pored into the business.don`t want to screw my husband , but feel he must be wrong about having no call on the company.

dear alexander, yesterday i had a meeting with a barrister, most informative, new her law and how to make it work. am in a similsr position. the ?s you ask, and the facts you can gather, reasonably, and he should reply to in law ,will help establish the truth. he can be made to answer reasonable ?s. A peace of advice. Know and understand what is possible from a reputable source, it is not in his interest to tell you what is possible. My s2bx does not recognise the principles of financial separarion, he is still making up hte rules to please himself. I am now aware of what i should have and is reasonable to have in law. ps crap at english.
