Can't fathom the reasoning behind the change.

Blue is thought of as depressing - if you are 'blue' you are sad, down, unhappy.

On the other hand to quote 'the future's bright - the future's orange'.

Pretty clear to me what colour wiki ought to be!!

It always takes time to get used to a change and maybe it's because I've been feeling a bit down lately or because the shade is wrong, but I find the blue quite depressing. Perhaps a darker shade of blue would work better?

I've just realised what the problem is - it isn't the colour that's hard to read it's that its too bold... it kind of fuzzes together. I think either the font needs to be a little bigger or a little slimmer font. Or a little darker - there's a bit of a 'glow' to this one.

Just sayin' ;)

I think your right Shezi, i don`t find it easy to read at all, the orange i did, others seem to find it a bit cold and depressing.

ok, we have a darker blue now, with some traditional wiki-orange thrown in for good measure.

What you think of this colour scheme?

It doesn't glow as much, but it's still quite bright.

Hi Ruby

The darker blue is easier to read but seems a bit cold still. Something not quite gelling together right.

Its almost like a masculine design mixed with a more feminine one but not quite co-ordinating right.

Hope that makes sense!
