Financial statement

Written by
Wikivorce

A guide on financial statements and how to use it.

Financial questionnaire

After form E has been completed and sent off, you and your ex must prepare a questionnaire for the other party. The questions should relate to the statement of issues. Your questions should help the court decide on how to share finances, so make sure each question is helpful to the court regarding finances.

Types of questions relate to –
  • Income and earnings
  • Property owned
  • Financial needs
  • Financial obligations
  • Contributions
  • Bank statements
  • Valuation evidence for assets other than property
  • Company accounts
  • Housing needs
  • Evidence of employment
  • Evidence of looking for employment
If you have a solicitor, they can help you prepare the questionnaire.
Once the questionnaires have been prepared, you will need to swap with your ex and answer each question and prepare evidence if asked.
