Form G - Notice of Response to First Appointment

G

Form G - Notice of Response to First Appointment. You use Form G to tell the court if you think you will be ready, or not ready to negotiate a settlement at the first appointment, you need to give your reasons why. You need to complete and return it to the court and a copy to the other side at least 14 days before the date of your first appointment.

Form G is a one page letter that the court will send out along with other paperwork informing them thier spouse has made an application for Financial Remedy (Ancillary Relief), including the letter that tells you the date of your First Appointment.

The first hearing is generally very short and is designed to ensure that the financial disclosure is sufficient to base any settlement on.

Please note that this is just an example of a Form G so you know what to look for in your court paperwork. This copy is not to be used in place of an official Form G.
