Making cocktails simple...

Named after its inventor, Martini de Anna de Toggia, this remains a classic cocktail.

Serves 1

4 - 6 cracked ice cubes
3 measures gin
1 tsp dry vermouth, or to taste
cocktail olive, to decorate

1. Put the cracked ice cubes into a mixing glass
2. Pour the gin and vermouth over the ice and stir well to mix
3. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and decorate with cocktail olive

Did you know?
Not only did James Bond always demand that his Martini should be shaken, not stirred, but his creator, Ian Fleming, also followed this practice.
