How Times Change...

Are you a parent going solo? Having problems with your children and don't know where to turn? When I first divorced, my children were very young (a baby and a toddler) - there was no internet, no 'Starting Over' magazines supporting the journey, no network... divorce was still a stigma. A lonely place.

Back To School...

A regular feature of Wikizine: read Belinda Scott's experience as a, recently divorced, single mother of 5. Goodness it’s the end of the school holidays at last! Or is that already…it’s definitely been one of those years where I can’t decide if the children have been at home forever, or, for a few days.

Are Relationships Disposable?

Wikizine regular, Matt, shares his latest musings on being a 30-something singleton. It's that time of week, I thought the other day, what to write for my next column? And after a week dominated by work but with a couple of nice surprises tucked in, I was talking out loud with the girls in the office about the way of the world today and how different it seems to be from 10, 20 or 30 years ago while I was growing up.

April's Issue From Down Under...

This month, I'm publishing Wikizine from Australia... My schedule has been very tight this month since I'm taking a working holiday in Sydney. Armed with my trusty laptop, this intrepid traveller set off for the other side of the world.

An Interview with Clarisa...

Clarisa interviews 3 single males about what they look for in a woman. Meeting the Eds for the first time they gave me some strict parameters for my first article… apparently my thoughts on writing an article on sex toys and masturbation was not quite what they were looking for in edition one.

And So it Begins...

A regular feature of Wikizine: read Belinda Scott's experience as a, recently divorced, single mother of 5. Well that’s the new academic year started. It never ceases to amaze me how quickly schools get down to extorting money from us parents. Only two days in and the screwed up bits of paper that can be found stuffed into many a nine year old’s school bag come floating out at some inopportune moment, usually when I have my hands in very attractive yellow gloves of the Marigold variety.

Belinda's Column

A regular feature of Wikizine: read Belinda Scott's experience as a, recently divorced, single mother of 5. I am recently divorced, and a mother of five children, all under the age of 16. I am very much enjoying life as a single person, and as a single parent, though this is not without its trials and tribulations.

Badmouthing’ – to do or not to do?
