Our fashion guru, Siana Quinn, gives us some advice for Autumn fashion... September is fast approaching which means two things…relief from that headache as term time begins and it is time to go shopping for that coat, why should it just be the kids that get a new uniform?
Yes, yes we know that credit crunch is looming over us all like a dark cloud but we, your Wiki style guide have hunted all over the internet to find a list of coats that are all affordable and will make us all feel like yummy mummys.
Here are our tips for finding that coat that is right for you:
A coat should be seen as investment piece. It needs to have stamina, it should be able to be brought out of the wardrobe over years to come. However, investment is a word that none of us really care for at the minute so you may have to just think about the now. You should be able to wear your coat for most occasions, you need to think about whether it is suitable for work, an evening out and just running errands.
It doesn’t have to be black. Okay, black goes with everything but push the boundaries a bit, it is the cold months, don’t darken it even more by wearing black. You should feel comfortable and confident in your coat. Lets face it you are going to be wearing it nearly every day for at least five months. A coats primary purpose is to keep you warm but what is the harm if it also makes you feel chic and gorgeous?
