Changes From 2011

From 2011, some changes to Child Support Agency (CSA) arrangements are due to be made:

  • The maintenance calculation will be based on income details gathered by HM Revenue & Customs for tax purposes.
  • Maintenance awards are expected to be calculated more quickly.
  • Awards will be fixed for a year at a time unless the income of the parent without main day-to-day care changes by more than 25 per cent during the award period.
