The helpline is there to give you help and information on what your options are and how to get in touch with agencies that can help you.
They can also provide a friendly ear, someone to talk to without feeling blame or guilt. Specially trained volunteers working from their own homes staff the helpline. They come from all parts of Scotland, so you may not get someone from your own area, but they will be able to provide you with local info.
