Hi

Great news.

Just one word of advice from my own experience. Ensure you are consistent. It will take time for the new behaviour to become the norm as you know from the reaction when your ex was there. Can you get him on board to turn his back as well so he doesn''t reward the dog for bad behaviour ?

I know from experience it takes a few months to totally turn bad behaviour around so keep up the good work !

Glad you''re bonding again with your dog & are more confident - he will sense that & respond to it.
