Have put down 2.5hours, we will see. Only took up running in May so I''m chuffed with my time today.

I will be setting a challenge to complete the half too, time is not of the essence but......

Your 10k time suggests you should be nearer to 2 or 2:15 than 2:30. Good luck and don''t forget to update us.

Why not book it for 2015? If you do an autumn marathon and start training in January you have got ten months which is more than enough.

You could do a half in May as part of your training there are loads on then.

Feeling very pleased with myself this morning I have made pasta sauce and a cake then done the shopping bought paint and now just finished painting the kitchen ceiling walls next
