I guess small part of me feels/hopes that maybe in time she may change her mind so a separation might be better for now, I am probably wrong..

How much would it cost for us to get divorced now? I guessed at the £10k each after reading some of the posts maybe more. We have to wait till we sell the FMH before much else can happen, then we will see what she wants to do.

If you can agrea all matters you can divorce for £349 plus court costs.

Wiki Have a package for uncontested divorce, i used it from start to finish includeing court fees it cost 1k.

Hi there

There isn't a draft Separation Agreement on this site and nor will there ever be one, simply because they can be set aside if legal advice isn't taken on them, therefore I won't put one up as too many peeps will just copy it, not take advice, and then have it bite them on the bottom.

BTW...there are so many ways to wriggle out of a separation agreement I personally always advise peeps to divorce and get the Consent Order done instead...not to make more in fees, but simply because I spend too much time helping peeps either get out of a separation agreement or trying to make someone stick to it. Waste of time, money and effort IMHO.

An Update

Well things have moved on a pace these last weeks, she thinks I am having an affair and now wants a divorce..

So I am waiting for the letter from her solicitor now.

Ho Hum !!

At least here solicitor is telling her to go to mediation.
