Unfortunately it all starts out amicable, but rarely ends up the same way. Do I take it your wife has been to see a solicitor;)
Things can go wrong once they get involved.

Might be as well to go for the divorce now and get it all sorted out properly. If you do not it can drag out for years, which will cost a fortune, letters to and fro from solicitors about what you have and have not done.

Have you put your details on wiki at all, so that someone can have a look for you???
