What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

For some unknown reason, the words "Form G" are in Lilliputian size at the very bottom of the form :/

Hi, I am also in the same stage like rowanswood. Can you please help me

On the other hand "Summary of Issues" is a document that solicitors just tend to know the format for.

If you need an idea of the lay out of this document then I can email you a copy of mine with personal data obscured if this helps; have done this for a few members on here, along with a copy of the Chronology."

Can you please send me these?

My wife is divorcing me and I cannot afford legal costs so have to research everything myself. So far it is not that bad but I have a first appointment coming up and need to file a chronology and form G. I have no idea on what to put down in the chronology or the questionnaire that I have to submit.
Could you please email them to me
