OK cos im now part of Haways fat fighting thing i need to have a party to get rid of all the carling in the fridge and all the other fatty comfort eating goodies, 7pm Friday then the diet will begin.

A question for our glorious leader....

You mention lager and you mention wine, may I please have your thoughts on VODKA... is this a safe alternative to CAKE??

ok, just wanted to check in and let you all know about my first week.

I THINK I lost 2lb - I say I think because I don't quite remember what it was last week, all I know is that it was less this morning than it was last week.

I would like to say though that losing 2lb is far more likely to be carelessness on my part than anything to do with hard work and determination. I think I lost it in the pub on friday when I was ordering my fourth double vodka and coke.

However, eating dust for the rest of the weekend seems to have helped.

I do have a fantastic way of losing those extra pounds ....by eating curry!

- it's easy- get yourself a cheap ticket to Mumbai, step off the plane, find the nearest street vendor, gorge on your favourite curry, return to airport and fly back - it's guaranteed - the world will fall out of your bottom, and the pounds will fly off too!
