I'll tell you what Ruby.

I will give up tommorrow too. My wife gave up on Monday but I was too stressed that morning to give it a go.

I was going to have a stab at it on Monday but tommorrow is just as good as any other time.

Bit of a challenge eh? :woohoo:

IM armed to the teeth with manky nicotine gum, if anything will put you off smoking that stuff will - its like chewing a week-old ashtray.....

I'll try it tommorrow that's for sure. I already have my nicotine patches in the drawer for the first week and that should be enough.

Oh Gawd. What have I let myself in for now....?

I think it's easier for Women to give up smoking than a Man. When a Woman says "No" she normally means it and digs her heels in, whereas a Man is not so, so... can't think of the right words without digging an even bigger hole, but you know what I mean.

I don't know about it being easier for a woman to quit, I'm on week 6 of Champix and could still kill for a ciggie. Determined though....filthy habit won't get the better of me
