What are we each entitled to in our divorce settlement?

What does the law say about how to split the house, how to share pensions and other assets, and how much maintenance is payable.

What steps can we take to reach a fair agreement?

The four basic steps to reaching an agreement on divorce finances are: disclosure, getting advice, negotiating and implementing a Consent Order.

What is a Consent Order and why do we need one?

A Consent Order is a legally binding document that finalises a divorcing couple's agreement on property, pensions and other assets.

My husband is a Sound Engineer by trade. Since the onset of this divorce, I have discovered he has been secretly recording me.
During blinding rows (hey! they happen under such intolerable situations!) He has recorded me. With his mobile phone, with his digital camera, (which I have since removed) and with professional equipment. I was unawares that our rows and conversations were being taped.

He's now airing this to anyone who will listen. I'm not embarrassed, but he left my voice on his sisters answer phone, and their child heard the row.

I would not have acted like that in front of my nephew, and what happens in the privacy of our marital home - remains private.

I am thinking of taking legal action to stop him recording me, do I have any rights under 'privacy' regarding this?
