Well it is all over I got 57.5 percent which is a little less than I would have liked but it wasn't 50/50.
I haven't paid a fortune out for solicitors either which he has.
He had been bragging that he would get 50% so he has made himself look a fool.
The judge was a lady and she was really annoyed it had been brought to court and told him in no uncertain terms it would not be 50/50. She told us to go and negotiate as it was a ridiculous case which it was we only had the house so the barristers negotiated and when we went back to see the judge she said the agreement was very near to what she would have ordered.
The house is to be put up for sale in the new year and I keep the contents. Not sure how I will rehouse to be honest but it is what it is.

My beautiful daughter has come home with a bouquet of flowers and prosecco for me. She said it's not what you needed mum but I will give you my savings if it helps. Bless her she is saving for a place of her own and I wouldn't dream of taking her money. I have something money can't buy the love of a beautiful daughter who also calls me her best friend. What more do I need.

Sorry I have`nt been on here for a while but it was very heartwarming to open on your post. Hopefully everything will work out for you. Like me you have something money, karma or anything else can never buy. Your children that adore you.
I had my final hearing 26/27th oct. My grown up children were both on the phone before I went in and as soon as I came out. My daughter bought flowers and champagne around afterwards. Bitter sweet and I tried to enjoy it but the fact that my children were right alongside me I will always have more in my life than my ex.
All the best for the future.

Julie,

I am glad you have resolution - even if it is not quite what you wanted, it is better than he thought you would get and at least now you can start planning for the future.

Take some time to recover from all the stress.

Please also stay around to share your experience with others.
