Hi am trying Wikivorce settlement calculator but confused what to put for housing outgoing. Ex is currently paying mortgage on matrimonial home I am residing in with minor, and hopefully that will continue for next two years until they reach adulthood. Should I provide estimated costs for rent / mortgage as will have to pay these in future? Also how reliable is the calculator related to reality of settlements, is it worth using as a base for negotiation? Thanks

Estimated costs are fine but don't take much notice of the calculation I doubt it has any bearing on real life. If it was anywhere near accurate I would get 70% and that's never going to happen. I will be lucky to get half.

Not really sure what the point of the calculator is, but guess someone on here will tell us.
