does it automatically exclude your ex from claiming anything from your estate when you die? If you have remarried.:)

Are you divorced? Have you already remarried. Has your ex?
Do you have a legally binding financial settlement? If you don't your ex still has a claim. It is a good idea to settle the finances and get an order to dismiss all future claims in life and death. Oh and make a new will. Be aware of the remarriage trap. This can prevent you starting a claim for settlement if you have remarried without a financial settlement. Your ex, assuming they have not remarried, would still be able to claim against you.

And don't forget to change the named beneficiary in any life insurance policies, investment accounts, pension accounts etc.
