This media request has been approved by the wikiteam for posting.

If you wish to volunteer, please PM contact details to Hadenoughnow and brief details of why you fit the bill - and they will be passed to the journalist concerned.

Ideally volunteers should have divorced on admitted adultery grounds. A small fee will be payable.

Did your wife cheat on you? I'm looking for four or five middle class men (any age) whose wives cheated on them to take part in a sensitively written feature in the Daily Mail - since the media is always full of women giving interviews about their husbands having affairs, we feel it's high time that wronged men get their chance to speak out. If you fit the bill and are willing to take part then I will require a short phone interview with you so you can tell me how you met your wife, what you loved about one another, when you got married, then how you discovered your wife was cheating, what the fallout was, how and where you gained support and advice (eg wikivorce), anything you learned from it all and, of course, how life is for you now. We will also need you to be photographed at home at your convenience. We can change your wife's name if that helps.

This will give you an idea of what will be written - its the one about women with cheating husbands.

I do so love the way the Daily Mail can explain the often complex and deep reasons for adultery with a one sentence strap line....goodness me, those journo's are in the wrong field :P

Forgive me but as someone who once featured in an article by the Daily Mail that devastated my life through a libellous story (you think divorce is bad? try suing a rich newspaper for libel under our present laws, however good your case is...) I don't think you can truthfully have 'The Daily Mail' and 'sensitive' in the same sentence...

Hi Had,

The researcher admits that he is only looking for 'wronged' men, apparently because the media is full of reports on 'wronged' women.

I was not aware of this so I probably also missed the stories on the more complicated cases where one spouse commits adultery in desperation as an alternative to a life of quiet despair.

Does anyone know whether such 'grey' cases have been reported in the press?

Kind regards,

YA

What colour are you wearing Saturday, pink or red? I wouldn't want us to clash.
